William Seymour day book, 1825-1828.

William Seymour was a machine maker and screw cutter in Hartford, Connecticut. Some of his creations included an iron door for the State of Connecticut prison and a screw and box for a cannon. Customers included John I. Wells, a printing press maker and cabinetmaker, and Silas Andrus, who owned a steam press. Seymour also made a bottle mold for the Willington Glass Co.
